We understand that unexpected situations arise. If you need to cancel or reschedule an appointment, we kindly ask for at least 24 hours' notice.
Appointments canceled with less than 24 hours' notice will be subject to a fee equal to 50% of the scheduled session rate, which will be charged to the card on file.
To accommodate unforeseen emergencies, each family is provided with two courtesy late cancellations per calendar year. After these have been used, the late cancellation fee will apply to any additional cancellations made with less than 24 hours' notice.

Playful Speech Explorers LLC is a private-pay practice and does not participate directly with any insurance plans. As an out-of-network provider, payment is due at the time services are rendered.
Upon request, a detailed Superbill can be provided for speech and language therapy services. Families may submit this document to their insurance company for potential out-of-network reimbursement. Please note that reimbursement is not guaranteed and varies by insurance plan. It is the parent or guardian's responsibility to submit Superbills and any required documentation directly to their insurance provider.
We encourage families to contact their insurance company before beginning services to learn more about their out-of-network benefits and reimbursement eligibility.

To make billing simple and convenient, payment information is securely stored through our HIPAA-compliant client portal, Simple Practice. Payments are automatically processed after each session.
